Please make sure we are doing pre and post trips on all work vehicles and trailers daily. Fill out the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report every day and turn in weekly. At the end of the day, do not just park the truck without doing a post trip.
Some things to pay close attention are making sure tires at atleast 2/32 tread on both truck and trailers drive tires and atleast 4/32 for steer tires.
Make sure tires are inflated to proper PSI.
Check all lights.
Check fluids.
Check leaf springs.
Check for air leaks.
Check Fire extinguisher to make sure it is properly secured and charged.
Make sure all tools, equipment, and gas cans are properly secured.
