Floor Openings and Holes on Jobsites
Everyone on jobsites must be protected from falling through holes, including skylights, trip hazards presented by holes, and objects falling from holes more than 2” in diameter. The protection can be guardrails, personal fall arrest systems, safety nets, or covers. Covers are the preferred method as they are systems that protect workers below the hole from falling objects, which is required. Covers: Covers for holes in floors, roofs, and other walking/working surfaces shall meet the following requirements: All covers shall be capable of supporting, without failure, at least twice the weight of employees, equipment, and materials that may be imposed on the cover at any one time. Cleaning up around Dumpsters
Please remember to sweep up quick around the dumpster and under it after pulling a dumpster. Especially if its a roofing project in a driveway. When we take the extra time and effort to clean up, it helps show that we are the best roll-off comany around. ... » Read more

Safety Chain on Dumpsters
Please make sure to always latch the safety chain on the dumpster incase the door pops open while you are picking dumpster up or driving down the road. In the past, we had a near miss while we were driving down the highway when the handle on the dumpster broke and the only thing keeping the door shut and load from dumping on highway was the safety chain.... » Read more

This standard was developed to ensure that the hazards of all chemicals produced or imported are evaluated, and that the information gathered about their hazards is transmitted to employers and employees.
